Kaprun is a scenically very attractive village situated at the entrance to the Hohe Tauern National Park and at the foot of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. Kaprun offers all the amenities required for your holiday and is an ideal location for year-round skiing.
In summer there are plenty of activities to keep you amused, including horse riding, cycling, walking, rafting, paragliding, swimming and golf. Bars, restaurants, banks, local tourist centre, supermarkets & shops are all within easy walking distance.
Zell am See is a short distance away with its spectacular views and beautiful lake.
For skiing, the nearby Kitzsteinhorn Glacier offers year round skiing with beautiful views. Whether you are experienced or a novice, there are plenty of runs for all to enjoy. There is a local Kaprun ski area plus separate learner/training slopes. Further skiing is to be found at nearby Zell am See. There is also further skiing for the more adventurous at closely located Sallbach/Hinterglemm, Bad Gastein, Kitzbuehel and Maria Alm.
